The Blacksmith’s Arms
The Blacksmith’s Arms is the highly rated Farlington Village pub.
It is well known for it’s fantastic food and warm welcome.
The perfect place for a proper Sunday lunch, or a refreshing drink.

St. Leonard’s Church
St Leonard’s church has been a feature of Farlington village for over 900 years. It is a small rectangular building; the nave leading into the chancel without any structural division.
The church is substantially a 12th-century structure touched by the fingerprints of countless generations down the years. Major alterations have seen the addition of buttresses and windows of various dates.

Castle Howard
Castle Howard is a stately home that is undoubtedly spectacular, interesting, impressive and well worth a visit.

The historic city of York is just ten miles south of Farlington, and amongst it’s wealth of attractions are York Minster, the Jorvik Viking centre, The National Railway Centre, and Clifford’s Tower.

Castle Howard walk
Length: 6.5 miles
Castle Howard is one of the best and most famous stately homes in England. With it’s inspiring history, and wonderful architecture, it has often been used as a film set for dramas and historical documentaries. However for those of us who want to walk around the grounds, and only catch glimpses of the great house, it is just as enjoyable.
