Please be aware that there has been an attempted burglary at Pear Tree Cottage.
On Monday at 11.50pm, the Atkinson’s were disturbed by their dog barking. Two men, dressed in black with hoods, were seen in their car park. When approached, an awaiting car parked at Farlington Lodge gateway raced up and the burglars escaped. The car was a black Nissan 54 registration plate. They broke into a shed but were obviously disturbed so didn’t steal anything. The police have visited the Atkinsons.
