We have recently seen a spike in rural crime in the Hambleton area particularly at the north of the county around Great Ayton and Stokesley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Farming equipment, tools, machinery, off-road bikes, quad bikes and vehicles are being targeted. These have mainly been taken from outbuildings of farms and rural properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
North Yorkshire Police will be conducting additional patrols in these areas but ask that residents remain vigilant ensuring their property is safe and secure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
