Embleton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\"><li><strong>Treasurers Report<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Treasurer reported that 21\/22 accounts had been audited and signed off by an independent auditor and submitted successfully to the Charity Commission along with the Trustee report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since start of new financial year (1st April 2022), an income of \u00a31002 had been received to date to include <em>ad hoc<\/em> one off hire; sale of music night tickets yielding \u00a3210 of which \u00a380 was profit; tea room hire by St Leonards church \u00a3130 profit; jumble sale \u00a3593.50, the proceeds of which were donated to the Ukraine crisis. There is also ongoing income from the fit class held on a Thursday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Expenses were \u00a31522.13. Some events had been subsidised to welcome residents back to village hall post-Covid-19 e.g. Queens Platinum Jubilee BBQ event. Further expenditure incurred on hall maintenance. supplies and utilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u00a3145 new woodstore<\/li><li>\u00a367.66 electricity bill<\/li><li>\u00a3593 donation to Ukraine crisis<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Total funds remaining in VH account: \u00a325,908.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Treasurer noted that some planned events earlier in the year (namely cheese and wine \u201cCall My Bluff\u201d night and the quiz night) had been cancelled due to lack of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"4\"><li><strong>Upcoming events<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Mulled wine and mince pie night with lighting of the village Christmas tree and carols: Sunday 18th December, 5pm, village hall. Steph &amp; Johnny Wills have kindly offered to organise this for 2022, however, additional volunteers always welcome. Please also take some time to consider what events you might like to see at the village hall in 2023 and let one of the Trustees know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"5\"><li><strong>AOB<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Treasurer reported that she was obtaining quotes for the installation of a woodburner in the village hall.
