{"id":1739,"date":"2021-03-19T19:20:40","date_gmt":"2021-03-19T19:20:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.farlington.org.uk\/?p=1739"},"modified":"2021-03-19T19:20:40","modified_gmt":"2021-03-19T19:20:40","slug":"st-leonards-farlington","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.farlington.org.uk\/index.php\/2021\/03\/19\/st-leonards-farlington\/","title":{"rendered":"St Leonard\u2019s, Farlington"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>After what seems to have been a very long winter, we are pleased to announce that we are re-opening the door of St Leonard\u2019s for public services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>The first service of 2021 will be on <strong>Palm Sunday<\/strong> (March 28<sup>th<\/sup>) at 11.15am and be led by the Churchwardens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our <strong>Easter Day<\/strong> celebration (Sunday, April 4<sup>th<\/sup>) at 11.15 and will be a service of Holy Communion and we hope you will be able to join us. Social distancing remains a requirement which places a restriction of the number we can get into church. Therefore, we need to know in advance if you are intending to attend \u2013 please ring Richard Haste on 878581 or email <a href=\"mailto:richardhaste@btinternet.com\">richardhaste@btinternet.com<\/a> to reserve a place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Other services in April<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After Easter, we shall revert to our usual plan of services. In April these will be :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Sunday, April 11<sup>th<\/sup> : 11.15am : Shortened Matins (BCP)<\/li><li>Sunday, April 25<sup>th<\/sup> : 11.15am : Holy Communion (BCP)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Pre-booking for these services should not be necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of the ongoing requirement for the church to be thoroughly cleaned after it has been open to the public, opening for <strong>private prayer<\/strong> will continue \u2013 for the time being \u2013 to be on Tuesdays and Saturdays only between 10.00am and 4.00pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Churchyard remains open at all times and is looking lovely with the spring flowers.
