North Yorkshire Council (NYC) are conducting a survey on views on transport across our region. If you would like to complete the survey, please print it off and fill in, then post through Sue’s letterbox at Blackthorn House by 31st July. She will then collate any responses and advise NYC of the Farlington responses.

Subsidised Bus Services
Please see the attached communication regarding subsidised bus service renewals in April 2024. Please take a look at the Hambleton area, or any others you may use, and let Sue have any comments by the of end July so that she can collate a response to NYC.
Cat Found
We are happy to report that Ben the cat has been found in a garage. Thanks to everyone for helping to find him.
Farlington Book Exchange
Just a reminder that there is a free book exchange in Farlington. It can be found in the telephone box on the green. Feel free to exchange books, however, we respectfully request you do not dump books in bags on the floor of the telephone box or outside the box. Missing Cat
Ben, Steph and Johnny’s large ginger tabby with white bib and socks (last seen Monday evening) has gone missing. Please can you check your sheds, barns and garages in case he has got locked in. He doesn’t wear a collar.
