Do You Have Difficulty Getting to St Leonard’s

We are well aware that the length and steepness of the church path can make it very difficult for some people to get to services at St Leonard’s. Someone in Stillington has very kindly donated to the church a nearly-new, robust mobility scooter. This is now available for every Sunday service from about 20 minutes before the service is due to start. Get to the church gate, or thereabouts, and the buggy will do the rest. A member of the church will be with you so you do not have to be an expert in using mobility scooters.

Sheriff Hutton Village Market

St Leonard’s has been given the opportunity to run the Café at the Sheriff Hutton Village Market on Sunday, May 19th from 8.30am – 1.30pm. The potential is a profit of about £500 – a very welcome amount for the church. However, to make it work we need more helpers. Are you able to offer some time to us – anything from 2 – 5 hours would be very acceptable and much appreciated.

Also, if you would like to do some baking we have planned a small range (too much choice makes life difficult) of cakes which we will need in some quantity. Offers of baking would be very welcome.

If you can help or bake or both please ring or email 01347 878581 / richardhaste@btinternet.com
